1. Purpose of This Page

This page explains how Global Mobile Software LLC  (“Global Mobisoft,” “GMS,” "we," "us," or "our") oversees data protection, who our Data Protection Officer ("DPO") is, and how you can contact them. It applies to the products, websites and services we operate (our "Services").

3. What the DPO Does

The DPO's tasks include:

  • Informing and advising Global Mobile Software and its personnel about their obligations under data protection law, including the GDPR and the UK GDPR where they apply;

  • Monitoring compliance with data protection law and with our own data protection policies, including the assignment of responsibilities, awareness-raising, and training;

  • Advising on data protection impact assessments and monitoring how they are carried out;

  • Cooperating with supervisory authorities and acting as their contact point on matters relating to the processing of personal data; and

  • Acting as a contact point for individuals about the processing of their personal data and the exercise of their rights.

4. Independence and Confidentiality

  • The DPO does not receive instructions from GMS on how to carry out DPO tasks.

  • The DPO reports directly to the highest level of GMS management.

  • GMS provides the DPO with the resources needed to carry out these tasks.

  • The DPO is bound by confidentiality in connection with the performance of these tasks.

  • The DPO is not dismissed or penalised for performing DPO tasks.

  • The DPO holds no other position in GMS that conflicts with DPO tasks.

5. When to Contact the DPO

You can contact the DPO if you:

  • have a question or concern about how TifoXR handles your personal data;

  • want to exercise a data protection right, such as access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection;

  • want to object to processing that is based on our legitimate interests, or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; or

  • want to make a privacy complaint.

6. How to Contact the DPO

Send an email to dpo@globalmobisoft.com or write to the postal address in Section 2. To help us respond, please include:

  • your name and the email address linked to your TifoXR account;

  • the TifoXR product and, if relevant, the club deployment you used; and

  • a description of your question, request, or concern.

We may need to verify your identity before responding.

We will respond without undue delay and, in any event, within one month of receiving your request. If your request is complex or we receive a large number of requests, we may extend that period by up to two further months, and we will tell you if we do.

We will only request identity information that is reasonably necessary to verify your identity.

7. Club Deployments

Where the club acts as the controller of the relevant personal information, we will forward your request to the appropriate club. Please also refer to the club’s own privacy notice for further information.

8. EU/EEA and UK Representative

DataRep is our Article 27 representative, not our DPO. You can contact either the DPO or DataRep about your data protection matters. DataRep will forward your inquiry to us.

9. Your Right to Complain

If you are in the EU/EEA or the UK, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority. You can contact us first, but you do not have to.

  • EU/EEA: find your national authority through the European Data Protection Board at edpb.europa.eu.

  • United Kingdom: the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
